2.  Hampi, Karnataka:
This laid back village displays one of the greatest Hindu Kingdoms in Indian History. It has one of the most enthralling ruins mingled with huge boulders all over the land. The ruins date all the way back to the 14th century, and Hampi has over 400 monuments to see.

3. Goa:
Perhaps one of the biggest attractions in the whole country, Goa with its amazing beaches has over 2 million visitors each year. 4. Kerala:

9. Ajanta and Ellora Caves:
One of the world’s well known caves, the Ajanta Caves is located in the northern part of Maharashtra and has 29 caves in total to visit. These caves have prominence in the Buddhist history. The Ellora comprises of 34 caves and is a religious harmony of Hindu, Jain and Buddhist History.

This beach, located to the south of Tamil Nadu’s capital Chennai, has a thriving experience in case you are a backpacker. It has multiple resorts that promise local culture for tourists.
