British Prime Minister David Cameron replied a question
about which Indian dishes he was hoping to sample in India, a Question &
Answer session of a business seminar in Mumbai, talking about his plans to
visit Kerala and enjoy a Kerala fish curry:
"I am a moderate cook. My wife is very good - she makes a fantastic
Kerala fish curry. Sadly, I am not going to Kerala this time - maybe next time
- but I would like to have it as it's made in Kerala and see if it compares
with my wife’s.” (Media report).

This report adds more value and popularity to the Kerala fish curry.
The traditional Fish Curry (Nadan Meen Curry) is one of the
unique and mouth-watering and spicy recipes from Kerala. Kerala fish curry,
cooked with coconut oil and coconut milk gives an awesome taste, and a
wonderful treat with Appam (famous traditional food), Kappa (Tapioca, Cassava)
and White Rice.
Varutharacha (Malayalam) Meen(fish) Curry is another

is relate with. Kaayal means Back Waters, Kuyil name of a singing bird (Indian
cuckoo) stands for the Bird Sanctuary at Kumarakom in Kottayam Dist. Kumarakom
